Bass pro shops is looking for people, from local gun clubs, to man tables for a gun owners and activities weekend. they can talk to people about both and non gun related activities at their respective clubs. feel free to contact me for more details-- Gary

Just a reminder to Bulletin Board readers that in order to legally possess a large capacity feeding device (LCFD) in Massachusetts (any rifle or pistol magazine that holds more than ten rounds), you have to have a Class "A" or "B" License To Carry (LTC). If you get caught with a LCFD and you don't have a LTC, you have committed a ten-year felony under Massachusetts General Law (MGL c269s10(m)).  The fact that you did not have a gun in your possession is no defense!

looks like the anti's are at it again. this time they're going after bullets. they want to code them all and then make it impossible to reload or own uncoded bullets. another feel good infringement on our rights

They are .40 S&W and I don't believe they will fit a 6906 (isn't the 6906 a 9mm?).

The New Bedford Rod and Gun Club is hosting a military shoot on December 7th. There are three classes: peep sight, open sight, and bolt action.  Rifles have to be in unmodified, as-issued military condition.  $5 entry fee and 15 rounds per string (5 standing, 5 sitting or kneeling and 5 prone).  Take exit 11 off of Rt 195 and follow Reed Rd about 4 miles north. Period uniforms are welcomed!

7/8" Lyman Alaskan scope for sale.  Very good condition and is the adjustable model (windage and elevation).  Can be used as a low-priced alternative to an original M1 Garand scope. Selling for $250 and have several different sets of 7/8" mounts available separately.
